Dr Barchia has over 15 years’ experience and interest in working with children and adolescents and their families. She also has managed a number of research projects in schools examining children’s disclosure of information, children’s lying and children’s understanding of promises.
Dr Barchia’s doctoral research examining bullying and aggression in high schools has been published in international academic journals.

Ben is a registered psychologist with clinical experience working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties with both NSW Health and in non-government settings.
He is able to provide psychological assessment and both brief and longer term psychological therapy using evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, PTSD, drug and alcohol issues, relationship issues, career counselling, body image concerns, self-esteem, anger management and bullying.
Ben has interests in men’s mental health and mindfulness and offers an empathetic and supportive approach with all his clients. He enjoys working collaboratively to support the unique needs of people from all backgrounds with a holistic and client-centred approach to recovery and well-being. He works with clients towards self-empowerment in helping them to deal with life’s difficulties.
Ben is also a SIRA (Workcover) and Psychology Access Plus (ATAPS) accredited psychologist.
